He has had the honor of playing alongside and learning from many legendary artists. With this influence and his innate talent, he mixes a far-ranging set that pulls together strings of nostalgia fluidly combined with modern beats. TYLR_ has played clubs both mainstream and underground in Detroit, San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, and beyond. He has played festivals such as Movement, Motor City Pride, and Charivari. As a promoter he along with his partners have created legendary parties such as BAK DØR, Porno Disco, HUNNI, and HUSH, to name a few. TYLR_ is proud to represent the queer community as a gay artist. As a promoter, he strives to create safe inclusive parties. As a DJ he injects some of the music that has defined gay dance floor culture from the past and the present.
